Sheryl Crow is an American singer songwriter, and guitarist who rose to fame in the 1990's with such hits as: All I wanna Do, and If it Makes You Happy.

Before rising the fame, she worked as a music teacher, and did backing vocals for people like Michael Jackson.

She has won multiple Grammy awards, and has been inducted into the rock 'n' roll Hall of Fame.

This song is a different take on the famous Guns N' Roses song that was released in July 1987.

Produced by Rick Rubin and Sheryl Crow, the song feels more relaxed, and has a more soft fuel than the original Guns N' Roses hard hitting, fast paced tone.

Sheryl Crow completely reimagined this song, and although it has a similar tune and lyrics, it is actually a very different song. This song showcases her unique voice, and her ability as a guitarist.

The lyrics of the song make you feel like your experiencing the admiration of this person that the artist is singing about, and how special they are to them, and I can actually feel through the lyrics and visualize this person, as it speaks about blonde hair, and blue eyes and I can even imagine the personality of this person, being strong, to take away fears and offer comfort.

Fans as a whole, are divided on whether they like or dislike this particular version of the song, and generally speaking, in the public eye, it would seem that the Guns N' Roses version is the more widely accepted one.

I myself, am a bit divided as well, however I have to say that I do prefer Guns N' Roses version better, possibly because I'm a metal artist myself, but there is no denying that the song is unique and that it certainly stands out l. I believe her intent was to make the song more available to other people who like different genres of music other than hard rock and heavy metal.
Sheryl Crow is indeed a very talented musician.

Well I personally don't like this version so much is the original, I do encourage people to go and listen to it, because then you can hear something different, and experience the song the way that Sheryl Crow experienced it.
I do however like her overall as an artist, and I would highly recommend her music to everyone and encourage them to keep an eye out for her music and you can find her pretty much everywhere, on various platforms.
